Volunteer

Volunteering with CAMBRIS-AF means contributing your time, skills and energy to projects that support communities and strengthen local wellbeing, and volunteers play a crucial role in helping CAMBRIS-AF deliver community initiatives, organise events and support fundraising activity; whether through practical support, outreach, logistics or community engagement, volunteer contributions help us reach more people and deliver positive outcomes. Future volunteer opportunities will be published here with further detail on availability, roles, and how to apply. For now, this page is ready for the approved intake process and role descriptions.

NHS Run 4 Heroes Initiative

In 2020, CAMBRIS-AF joined more than 112 participants in the NHS Run 4 Heroes initiative. Together, they raised a remarkable £3,500 in support of NHS efforts during the COVID-19 period. Beyond fundraising, the initiative encouraged our community members to stay active, supporting better health and fitness at a time when many people were spending extended periods at home.
